3D Alfa World There are some excellent original 3D alphabets here but watch out for the Java script. Reviewed 7/5/97

Caligari Art Gallery An outstanding collection of 3D art created using the Caligari "Pioneer" software in categories: VRML, textures, scenes, still images, animation, objects and commercial art. A must see. Reviewed 12/13/96

Avalon - 3D A very large and impressive collection of ray-traced 3D wireframe images of objects in categories: Aircraft, Anatomy, Animals, Architecture, Characters, Collections, Dinosaurs, Geography, Military, Miscellaneous, Plants, Space, Vehicles and Watercraft. There is also a collection of textures. Reviewed 2/23/97

Fairy Suryana's 3-D Library An interesting site but difficult to navigate because of spam objects, hype and unnecessary verbiage. You'll find some original 3D stuff here - letters, bars and banners. I'm starting you on page 1 of the gallery to help you avoid the mess. Reviewed 7/5/97

Flinux Icon Archive A fine collection of images for HTML development. You'll find categories: 3dcolor 3dgray 64x38 arrow balls buttons comic-people computer disks-tape documents flags folder games graphics lines logos mail misc myfavor office panel signs simcity whole icons The entire collection is available for download as a tar file. I don't know why SimCity is not included in the games category. Reviewed 3/4/97

Free Art 3D Button Archive - Harlan Wallach A truly wonderful collection of interesting bars, buttons and 3D letters. The Victorian initials (half size example at right) are especially good. Not exactly free, though. A copyright notice is required for use. Not unreasonable. Reviewed 1/17/96

Freeweb - Free Stuff Zipped archives of scanned 3D grahpics and buttons. Reviewed 2/23/97

HyperReal Pictures A reasonably large collection of drug-related icons and images. Some are beautifully rendered ray tracings of molecules. Definitely worthy of a visit. If you need them, they're here. Reviewed 5/28/96

Iconhood An eyepopping presentation. I said "WOW" out loud when it loaded. There's a lot of 3D stuff here. Categories include: Animated, Bars, Backgrounds, Dots, Letters, Unsorted and Links. Reviewed 2/23/97

Intelligent 3D Icons A downloadable collection for your desktop with some previews available online here. You'll find instructions on how to install them, too. Reviewed 3/4/97

Jim's Cool Icons A small but excellent collection of original icons and images, many ray-traced and in 3-D, and all very nicely presented. Categories include: Marbles, Chicklets, Planets, Nameplates, Light Emitting Diodes, Phongy Tubes, Floppy Diskettes, Miscellaneous and Backgrounds. Reviewed 8/17/96, revisited 3/4/97

Kristen's Icons and Images A good collection of original images by Kristen with links to many of the largest icon and image collections, including the IconBAZAAR (thank you Kristen) through a Java script. Low end users beware. You'll find categories: 3D Graphics, Animated GIFs, Balls, Bars, Buttons, Chat, and Custom. Reviewed 3/31/97

The Prop Shop You'll find 3D object wireframes free here along with 3D animation tools. Reviewed 7/6/97

Peace Goodies Icons A rather small collection of icons, largely textured balls of various sizes but with several other interesting and original images. Reviewed 2/28/96

Studio 5 Digital Media - John Froberg A very interesting and distinctive graphics and internet services site. You'll find links to complementing sites, free 3D icons and free backgrounds at the bottom of the page. Be prepared for a well-worth-it wait - the site is graphics intensive and has animated icons. Reviewed 6/10/96

Vern's SIRDS Gallery An interesting collection of stereograms. Just cross your eyes. Also links to other stereogram sites. Reviewed 7/6/97
